Hadouken! – Bad Signal (Remixes)
Released: 5th August 2012 (Ministry of Sound)

Hadouken! return with their first single for new label Ministry Of Sound Records on 5th August 2012. ‘Bad Signal’ (produced by up-and-coming Aeph), confirms the band at the very forefront of the new wave of UK Bass, unquestionably the most dominant and exciting sound of 2012.
As Zane Lowe declared when awarding Hadouken! their second Hottest Record In The World in 2 months “It’s been a long and explorative journey for Hadouken! but tonight’s Hottest Record sounds like they have found their natural home. Their position in bass culture is unique, bringing both the live element and credibility in the electronic music field together to create something unique in Bad Signal.”

The other Hottest Record having been for their free download ‘Parasite’ in April, in the space of a month ‘Parasite’ was downloaded over 55,000 times whilst the video has racked up an impressive 150,000 hits and still counting.

The reason for this wild-fire word of mouth response is simple. Bass is the underground club sound that has swallowed the mainstream and as such it’s the last great British youth movement. And while there are producers and DJs such as Chase And Status, Nero or even America’s Skrillex who convey that very successfully, there hasn’t been anybody who has crossed the sheer whumph of Bass music with the pent-up energy and personality of a break-neck rock gig. That’s exactly where Hadouken! come in. If ever the stars have aligned for a group’s return then it’s forBritain’s hardest working, most switched on young band.

Bad Signal’ comes backed with radical remixes from three of drum ‘n bass and British house leading lights – Xilent, The Prototypes and Wideboys.
