JAVEON REVEALS ‘INTOXICATED’

PRODUCED BY JULIO BASHMORE

The next single from Javeon is a heady cut aptly titled ‘Intoxicated’ and continues his trend of collaborating with the most in-demand and talented young producers from around the UK.

Following on from his recent work with MNEK, Tourist and Cyril Hahn, Javeon called upon fellow PMR-affiliate Julio Bashmore for ‘Intoxicated’. Having previously worked with Javeon on cult classic ‘Love Without A Heart’ and Jessie Ware on current smash ‘Peppermint’, Bashmore again demonstrates his unrivalled ability to successfully merge soulful pop vocals and house together into one special statement.

Continuing to explore the dark underbelly of British society, Javeon & Strebel’s latest work recalls the bygone social realism of 60s British cinema, as we follow our protagonist going about her daily business working in a small-time café after escaping from her wedding.
Yet things aren’t all what they seem, as she finds herself surrounded by shady-looking characters, which only adds to ‘Intoxicated’s brilliantly foreboding atmosphere; with an ambiguous final shot that whets the appetite for the final two videos in the series…
