New Single ‘Emotion’ Out June 29th

Maverick Sabre, the biggest male breakthrough artist of 2012, returns on June 29th with ‘Emotion’, a blistering new single on Virgin/EMI.

A modern day fusion of pounding Boom Bap beats and soulful vocals, it’s the first single from Maverick Sabre’s eagerly anticipated forthcoming album, the follow-up to his 300,000 selling debut “Lonely Are the Brave’. Written by Maverick Sabre and produced by Jamaica’s hottest up ‘n coming producer, Stephen McGregor, son of reggae legend Freddy McGregor, ‘Emotion’ was recorded in Jamaica.

In the last 18 months, this 23 year old with a voice like no other has been on quite a journey. He’s been writing, recording, and travelling, constantly honing his craft along the way, from Bed Stuy in Brooklyn to Tuff Gong studios in Jamaica.

He sang with an 80 piece orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, worked alongside Idris Elba in South Africa, and performed on Damon Albarn’s legendary Africa Express show in France.

“New times, new vibes and new music,” says the man himself. “’Emotion’ is just the beginning.”
