Brand new track from Koo here that I wanted to get on your radar. Tweeted by will.i.am the day after premiering via Your EDM, Sail Away is getting a fantastic response and as the Midlands are currently a hive of excitement with the talent that is emerging from its towns and boroughs, this little gem in the Electronic music scene is no exception!
Song-writer and producer, Koo, who’s personal mentors include Dante Santiago, presents her single ‘Sail Away’, the first taken from forthcoming EP ‘Into The Night’.
Having just wrapped up her E.P, due for release in Spring, ‘Sail Away’ opens with a soft, melodic vocal on a bed of sweet keys and guitar rift, before building in to a surprising drop of a bassy, electron-ic, dub-step fused hook.
The track breakdown makes it a perfect addition for any DJ set. Topped with an enchanting visual that captures the soft, sweet beauty in a contrast from the hard and passionate beat. With the first piece of music she wrote and sung being signed to Skrillex’s label, Owsla, Koo has followed with a string of successful records being released by key labels such as: Inspected, Playaz, UKF, Lifted Records & already has 2015 releases lined up with Monstercat & Play Me Records.
