“the song is impressive and smart political rap” – The Sun

Following the release of his quadruple platinum-selling album The Defamation of Strickland Banks, the Brit Award-winning artist PLAN B (AKA Ben Drew) has today announced details of his forthcoming album ill Manors, which is set for release through Atlantic Records on Monday, May 7th .

Produced by Plan B, the track features the instrumental of “Alles Neu” by Peter Fox. He commented, ‘You could call ill Manors “bass-line, soul, hip-hop.”

The album has the lyrical depth of my first record but the musical composition is light years ahead as it’s informed by everything I’ve learnt in the last five years – writing, producing and playing with a live band. I feel I’m better than I’ve ever been.

The album will be preceded by the theatrical release of the accompanying full length motion picture ‘ill Manors’. The film will be released on Friday, May 4th and is written and directed by Plan B.

The first single (also titled “iLL Manors”) is Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record of The Week’ and will be released on 26 March.
