After slapping 2018 in the face with the release of his latest EP.
Mez returns with heavy visuals to the ‘Tyrone Freestyle’
His unique style and raw talent have caught the attention of Grime tastemakers like Sir Spyro and Sian Anderson who have been supporting the EP at 1Xtra and Adidas have just added Angles, Knowledge & Tyrone Freestyle to their global instore playlist.
Boasting productions from the cream of the grime crop, Uncle Mez’s rapid fire flows and witty lyricism coupled with some serious attitude, marks a real return of the great British underground sound.
Already a firm favourite on the circuit, regularly being referred to as ‘the MCs MC’, Mez has been called on by the likes of Skepta and D Double E to open at sold-out shows at Alexandra Palace and 02 Academy Islington, he’s supported Stormzy and Kano on tour and can also cite the likes of Boiler Room and Eskimo Dance as his mates.
He has battled on Lord of The Mics and has frequented festival line-ups including Born N Bred and NASS, showing he’s no stranger to the big stage.
Having the nod from ID, Dummy & Fader as ‘One to Watch’ in 2018, it is time to let the music do the talking.
